Pine River Parade of Lights is Saturday

"Frozen in Pine River" is the theme of the annual Pine River Parade of Lights. The parade will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, followed by fireworks.

Saturday activities also will include Lunch With Santa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Pine River American Legion and horse-drawn rides from noon to 2 p.m. with pick up and drop off at the Pine River Legion.

The Parade of Lights will be at 5 p.m. with lineup at 4 p.m. at First Lutheran Church and $100 prizes awarded for Best Use of Lights In Theme and Overall Best Use of Lights.

The Chamber Information Center Open House will be after the parade with free hot chocolate and apple cider, Christmas cookies and bonfire near the Pine River Depot.

Fireworks will cap the day at 6:30 p.m.
