Pine River-Backus will celebrate Week of the Young Child at 5:30 p.m. Monday, April 11, in the Pine River-Backus School commons area. Enter through doors 17, 33 and 34.
There is no cost. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Activities will be geared toward preschool through third grade students and will include a dance party, infant area, large vehicles, Moonwalk, snacks, early childhood information, hands-on activities and an appearance by Smokey Bear.
The event is a collaboration between Pine River-Backus Early Childhood Family Education, Early Head Start, Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Coalition and Happy Dancing Turtle.
