Renovation of the Pine River-Backus High School entryway and office space has begun. Visible from the outside is the exterior component of the renovation, which entailed the removal of the canopy over the entrance and the excavation of the student pickup zone.
The $1.985 million project will improve security in the school's front entryway and high school offices, as well as make the offices more user friendly and more accessible to those with mobility issues.
The hallway outside of the offices will also be renovated to include new lockers.
