Mike Erholtz will chair the Pequot Lakes School Board in 2015, with Curt Johnson serving as vice chair and Susan Mathison-Young as clerk/treasurer.

All school board meetings and work sessions will start at 6 p.m. for the rest of the year, the school board decided Monday, Jan. 12. Until now, work sessions were at 6:30 p.m. and regular school board meetings at 7 p.m.

Board salaries remain at $250 per month per board member, and an additional $100 per day for full-day meetings. The chair will continue to earn an additional $100 per month, and the clerk/treasurer an additional $50 per month.

In other annual business, the board approved Lakes State Bank, Eagle Community Bank (for one scholarship) and PMA Financial Network as official depositories. The Pineandlakes Echo Journal remains the district's official newspaper.

The board honored senior Mariah Reed for attaining 100 career points in girls' hockey. Lindholm said Gov. Mark Dayton proclaimed the last week in January as Paraprofessionals Week.
