Patriotics first in conference tournament

The Patriotics, Pequot Lakes School's robotics team, participated in the Northern Minnesota Robotics Conference tournament Saturday, Oct. 26, in Thief River Falls.

The Patriotics were selected to join the fourth-ranked alliance in the finals. Their alliance won both matches in the semifinals to defeat the first-ranked alliance and advance to the finals.

In the finals, they faced the third-ranked alliance to compete in a best-of-three match. They won a tiebreaker match to claim first place.

The Patriotics were in the finals with alliance captain team 4539 KAOTIC Robotics from Frazee-Vergas and 4623 Flyer Robotics from Little Falls.
