Levi Palmer, a senior at Pequot Lakes High School, is a recipient of a $2,500 Minnesota Power Community Involvement Scholarship.

Scholarships provide financial assistance to students who attend a higher educational institution in Minnesota Power's service area and complete degree programs in specified fields of study.

The Duluth Superior Area Community Foundation administers this program on behalf of the Minnesota Power Foundation.

"This scholarship program recognizes high school seniors with outstanding volunteerism and academic success," said Minnesota Power Foundation administrator Aimee Curtis. "Today's students are tomorrow's leaders, and we remain committed to assisting the students of our region in furthering their education."

Since 1997, Minnesota Power and the Minnesota Power Foundation have provided over 826 students with a total of more than $2 million in scholarships. Learn more at www.positivelypowerful.org/scholarships .
