Nolan staff to hold Congress Comes to You meetings in area cities

U.S. Congressman Rick Nolan, D-Minn., announced the locations of several Congress Comes to You meetings his staff will operate.

"Hearing directly from residents makes me a better advocate in Washington for the great people of Minnesota's 8th District," said Nolan. "Congress Comes to You meetings are an opportunity to meet with members of my staff and discuss matters of interest and importance to you."

Those meetings in senior centers or that indicate "senior dining" are forums that will focus primarily on senior issues, such as Social Security, Medicare and veterans' benefits.

These meetings are in addition to numerous Congress Comes to You meetings operated throughout the 8th District. The full schedule can be viewed online: http://nolan.house.gov/congress-comes-to-you-schedule .

• Feb. 4: 3-4 p.m., Pine River City Hall.

• Feb. 11: 11 a.m.-noon, Nisswa City Hall; 1-2 p.m., Pequot Lakes City Hall; 3-4 p.m., Breezy Point City Hall.
