Three outstanding Brainerd High School graduates were honored with 2015 college scholarships at the May Nisswa Women's Club meeting.
They are Connor Gunsbury, Jordan Kleist and David Supinski. Each young man has excelled in his studies as well as in extracurricular activities, volunteer work and sports or music.
Gunsbury will enter the University of Minnesota (U of M) in the honors program of the mechanical engineering and business administration departments. Kleist will also enter the U of M honors program to study physics. Supinski is enrolled at Concordia College in Moorhead where he will major in biology and later plans to attend medical school.
Each year the club raises funds to support local student scholarships and area charities through its annual fashion show. The club has a proud history for providing 95 years of community service.
