After a successful 2017 style show, the Nisswa Women's Club announces the following donations from the show's proceeds:

• $7,500 to Central Lakes College Direct (five at $1,500).

• $6,000 for high school scholarships (four at $1,500).

• $2,500 to CLC Foundation.

• $1,000 to CLC Foundation - Memorials (10 at $100).

• $300 to Nisswa PTO (Fool's Bloom).

• $250 to Fun Books for Kids.

• $200 each to Alzheimer's Association of Minnesota, Crisis Line, Gillette Children's Hospital Foundation, Good Samaritan Hospice, Heartland Animal Rescue Team, Kinship Partners, Pine Ribbon Cupboard, Sharing Bread Soup Kitchen, Shriner's Hospital for Children, The Center Toy and Doll Makers, Wild and Free Wildlife Program.

• $150 to Radiothon to Prevent Child Abuse.

• $100 each to Beyond the Yellow Ribbon, Breath of Life, Bridges of Hope, Camp Knutson, Crossing Arts Alliance, Fishing Has No Boundaries, Fort Ripley Military Museum, Heartland Symphony, Nisswa Historical Society.

Other 2017 donations include $1,500 to CLC Foundation Scholarship (endowment), $1,364 for Women's Center of Mid-Minnesota, $2,075 in March for the food shelf and $2,315 in August for the food shelf.
