The Nisswa Community Children's Library will host a free summer reading program where participants will earn prizes, a free book and celebrate reading at a pizza party.
Also, the library will host programs at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays for children, June 18-July 23. Following is the schedule:
June 18, musician Ted Feyder; June 25, magicians Robert and Lynn Halbrook; July 2, artist Michelle Pfeiffer; July 9, author Martha Rustad; July 16, musician Jack Pearson; and July 23, science fun with Jon Adams, a Rafferty's Pizza party celebration, and reading program participants pick out their free paperback book.
Program sponsors are the Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation and the Crow Wing Power Community Trust.
