For 29 years, the Nisswa Chamber of Commerce has recognized outstanding individuals as Nisswa Citizens of the Year for their contributions to the community.
Historically, the nominations and selection occurred in the fall of each year. The Nisswa Chamber has made a change to the timing of nominations/selection, moving this date to the spring to allow the Citizen of the Year to be formally recognized at the Chamber's annual spring membership dinner.
The Nisswa Chamber will seek nominations in early spring 2018, and will honor the Citizen of the Year at the annual dinner May 17, 2018.
