The Greater Lakes Area Performing Arts (GLAPA) board is forming working committees to help with program planning, program operations, marketing and fundraising needed to bring high quality performing arts to the greater Pequot Lakes area.

GLAPA has been involved in community theater productions for more than 30 years on the stage of the Pequot Lakes High School theater. GLAPA also works to bring professional performances to the stage. The community theater productions and contracted artists are scheduled into an annual season of performing arts.

GLAPA's mission is to provide high quality performances at an affordable cost to the community located within a 30-mile radius of Pequot Lakes. Community members, as arts patrons or those who enjoy the theater, are invited to join with the GLAPA board to continue to find ways to bring great performances to the community.

The GLAPA board has formed four working committees to gather new ideas and provide support to the work of bringing performances on stage. The working groups are:

• Production Development: Folks who help with the staging needs of a show.
