  • Past teaching experience/education: Taught the last 3yrs in Staples-Motley as a Special Education teacher. Before that spent 2yrs as a paraprofessional in Superior, WI. Teaching Degree from The College of St. Scholastica, Bachelor Degree in Communication from the University of Minnesota-Duluth

  • What grades do you teach?: I will be teaching 9-12 grade
  • Interests/Hobbies: Football, bird hunting, spending time with my family on the lake
  • What are you most looking forward to at Pine River-Backus?: I can’t wait to get to know a new group of students and staff. I look forward to working with our students and families to improve their
  • Travis Grimler began work at the Echo Journal Jan. 2 of 2013 while the publication was still split in two as the Pine River Journal and Lake Country Echo. He is a full time reporter/photographer/videographer for the paper and operates primarily out of the northern stretch of the coverage area (Hackensack to Jenkins).
