  • Hometown: Pine River
  • Past teaching experience/education: This is my 10th year teaching professional education. We moved back to Minnesota during the pandemic from California. I’ve taught Kindergarten-5th Grade, Special Education K-12th, and had the amazing leadership role as an Activities Director. I am a proud PRB Graduate, BSU Alumni & am actively working on my post-graduate Educational Administration & Leadership Licensure.

  • What grades do you teach?: 8th - 12th Level III EBD Program
  • Interests/Hobbies: Adventures with my family and canines, making people laugh, gardening, riding bike, reading, and making memories with my people.
  • What are you most looking forward to at Pine River-Backus?: Creating relationships with students, families & the community.
  • Travis Grimler began work at the Echo Journal Jan. 2 of 2013 while the publication was still split in two as the Pine River Journal and Lake Country Echo. He is a full time reporter/photographer/videographer for the paper and operates primarily out of the northern stretch of the coverage area (Hackensack to Jenkins).
