Hometown: Fargo, North Dakota.
Past teaching experience/education: I got my K-12 vocal and classroom music education degree from Bemidji State University in May.
What grades do you teach? Grades 5-12 choir and general music.
Interests/hobbies: Drinking coffee, looking at puppies, watching comedies on Netflix and playing piano.
What are you most looking forward to at Pine River-Backus? Getting to know the students’ personalities/interests, and getting to sing together in-person.

Travis Grimler began work at the Echo Journal Jan. 2 of 2013 while the publication was still split in two as the Pine River Journal and Lake Country Echo.
