Meet the new teachers at PR-B Schools: Anjanette Arnold

Pine River-Backus welcomes Anjanette Arnold as a new teacher this year.

  • Hometown: Coon Rapids.
  • Past teaching experience/education: English as a second language teacher at Faribault Public Schools.
  • What grade do you teach? I will be teaching first grade.
  • Interests/hobbies: Running (from bears!), cooking vegan food, poker (still working on my poker face!), painting my house.
  • What are you most looking forward to at Pine River-Backus? I already feel a welcoming vibe and kind-heartedness amongst everyone in the district. It is a dream come true to be here! I am looking forward to meeting my students!
Travis Grimler began work at the Echo Journal Jan. 2 of 2013 while the publication was still split in two as the Pine River Journal and Lake Country Echo. He is a full time reporter/photographer/videographer for the paper and operates primarily out of the northern stretch of the coverage area (Hackensack to Jenkins).
