Hometown: Pine River.
Past teaching experience/education: I graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2017 with a degree in elementary education. I spent the last two years teaching fifth grade at Staples-Motley.
What grades do you teach? Fifth and sixth grade special education (second grade distance learning).
Interests/hobbies: I enjoy reading, playing volleyball and spending time at the lake with my family.
What are you most looking forward to at Pine River-Backus? I am looking forward to being back in the halls of PR-B and working with all of the great students and staff.

Travis Grimler began work at the Echo Journal Jan. 2 of 2013 while the publication was still split in two as the Pine River Journal and Lake Country Echo.
