During the Manhattan Beach City Council meeting in February, mayor Paul Allen informed the council that a new zoning map would be making its way through the planning and zoning commission before coming to the city council for approval in a future meeting, according to draft meeting minutes.
He also said the commission needed to go over the new map and make sure easements and boundaries have been properly shown and roads better designated, and that city hall must be designated as public property.
City clerk Barb Wannebo told the council that she hopes to purchase a copy of the manual for the state accounting program, costing the city roughly $35.
Council member Clyde Brodt was not in attendance.
