Lutheran Church of the Cross in Nisswa will host its bi-annual rummage sale from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, and from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 24.
There will be no early sales.
Lutheran Church of the Cross rummage sales, which have been a tradition since 1960, are a community ministry of service, fellowship and outreach. Rummage sales facilitate good stewardship by providing an opportunity for people to donate items they no longer need and offering needed items to others. They help people recycle, reuse and renew.
All proceeds from these biannual rummage sales go to local, state, nation and world-wide ministries.
All items are categorically displayed to make shopping easier for guests. Shopping areas by category include: clothing, Oval Room, books, glassware/dishes, boutique (seasonal), crafts, toys, small appliances/electronics, linens, pictures, lamps and clocks, tools and furniture/outdoor items.
