Low-cost spay/neuter clinic offered June 23 in Hackensack

Paws and Claws Rescue & Resort encourages responsible pet owners to spay or neuter their family pets at its third discounted spay/neuter clinic from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, June 23, at the Hackensack Fire Hall.

To use this low-cost veterinary service, pet owners should visit kindestcutmn.com, select "Schedule a Spay/Neuter Appointment" and answer a short survey to determine their pet's eligibility for this income qualified service. Or call 763-489-SPAY (7729) to enroll over the telephone.

Participants qualify for the reduced fees by meeting easy to interpret income guidelines or by indicating participation in one or more of 12 federal assistance programs.

There are 40 spots allocated for the clinic.
