ST. PAUL — State Sen. Justin Eichorn, R-Grand Rapids, was selected as the assistant minority leader at the Senate Republicans' organizing meeting Thursday, Nov. 10.
“I am honored to have earned the confidence of Senate District 6 voters and my Senate Republican colleagues,” Eichorn said in a news release. “Minnesota faces several significant challenges ahead like high inflation, rising crime and falling test scores. I will be working to hold Democrats accountable and get Minnesota back on the right track.”
State Sen. Mark Johnson, R-East Grand Forks, was elected as Senate Republican leader.
Next round robin is Feb. 9.
