Smokey Bear to be at Pine River Public Library on June 9

Famous icon will teach fire safety.

PINE RIVER — Smokey Bear will be at the Pine River Public Library at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 9.

This event is open to all ages. Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Forestry will be with Smokey to give a lesson on fire safety.

Following the presentation there will be a campfire lantern craft.
