Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Department

CRASHES: Report at 6:52 a.m. Sept. 14 of a property damage accident on County Road 11 and Pederson Road of a car versus deer crash. The deputy dispatched the deer. Unable to locate vehicle.

Report at 1:20 p.m. Sept. 17 of an all-terrain vehicle crash in Emily with a possibility of broken ribs.

DWI: Report at 10:09 p.m. Sept. 15 of a driving complaint on Sunset Valley Road in Nisswa. The driver was arrested for a DWI.

BURGLARY: Report at 12:49 p.m. Sept. 15 of a burglary on Mollie Lake Road in Nisswa.

ALARM: Report at 7:21 p.m. Sept. 16 on Pine Road in Nisswa of a carbon monoxide alarm.

Report at 1:16 p.m. on Sept. 17 of a smoke alarm on Kimble Lane in Pequot Lakes.

ANIMAL: Report at 6:58 p.m. Sept. 18 of pigs out on County Road 137 in Nisswa. The owner was able to put them back in.

IN-CUSTODY:

Breezy Point Police Department

VIOLATION: Report at 5:54 p.m. Sept. 18 of a violation of a harassment restraining order on West Street in Breezy Point. The suspect was arrested and transported to jail. The neighbors were contacted to care for the suspect's dogs.

CRASHES: Report at 5:24 p.m. Sept. 18 of a personal injury accident. A vehicle was stopped facing westbound traffic on Auray Drive in Breezy Point when a second vehicle struck them from behind. A passenger from the first vehicle was transported by ambulance for back pain while the driver of the second vehicle was treated for a leg laceration. Both vehicles were significantly damaged.

Report at 10:50 p.m. Sept. 16 of a crash of a single vehicle with minor injury to the driver. The driver was arrested for fourth-degree DWI and underage drinking and driving.

Report at 12:07 p.m. Sept. 15 of a crash damaging mail boxes at four locations in Breezy Point. The reporting party advised the driver left the scene and left behind a mirror from the vehicle. Suspect had been arrested and cited for fourth degree DWI at 10:24 a.m. the same day.

AGENCY ASSIST: Report at 9:47 a.m. Sept. 18 that a Pequot Lakes officer reported a driver with a warrant had parked his vehicle at the A Pine gas station and evaded him on foot. Breezy Point police assisted in searching the area. A Nisswa officer later located the suspect trying to leave in another vehicle.

TRAFFIC STOP: Report at 5:22 p.m. Sept. 17 of a traffic stop on Ouray Drive that resulted in a citation to a pizza delivery driver for driving 76 mph in a 55 mph zone.

BURGLARY: Report at 5:15 a.m. Sept. 17 of a burglary on 84th Street Southwest in Pequot Lakes.

FIRES: Report at 10:16 p.m. Sept. 12 of a fire on Murray Avenue in Pine River.

Report at 10:03 p.m. Sept. 17 of a fire on County 11 Northwest in Hackensack.

GAS DRIVEOFFS: Report at 7:20 p.m. Sept. 16 on Front Street in Pine River of a gas driveoff.

Report at 12:50 p.m. Sept. 17 of the theft of a front license plate on Main Street and Government Drive in Pequot Lakes.

CRASH: Report at 12:14 p.m. Sept. 18 of a motorcycle crash on Highway 371 and Nisswa Avenue.
