The Pine River Seed Library will reopen March 1 for anyone who would like to borrow seed for the 2022 growing season.
Seeds are free to all. Seed borrowers will be asked to complete a simple membership form and a seed check-out form, and are encouraged to save some seed at the end of the season for themselves and to return to the library.
Members who have borrowed seed previously will only need to update their check-out form.
The seed library is housed in the Pine River Public Library and will be open to seed borrowers from noon to 3:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays starting March 1.
Seed library volunteers will be available to assist borrowers with seed selection, to answer questions and to provide information about saving seed.
