Pine River-Backus homecoming candidates announced

PINE RIVER — Pine River-Backus High School homecoming candidates are Cate Travis, Ramsey Tulenchik, Hannah Barchus, Ashlee Crawford, Debren Popkes, Rian Struss, Corbin Knapp, Jared Hamilton, Irvin Tulenchik and Cole Burrell.

Homecoming week is Sept. 26-30 with dress up themes and events throughout the week.

• 7:30 p.m.: Outdoor movie in the parking lot behind the commons. In the event of poor weather, this will move to the commons area. This is a free event with concessions available.

• 8:30 a.m.: Candidate walk through.
• 4 p.m.: Cross-country meet, away.
• 5 p.m.: Junior varsity volleyball game at home vs. Clearbrook-Gonvick.
• 6:30 p.m.: Varsity volleyball game at home vs. Park Rapids.

• 1:15 p.m.: Tiger athlete autographs in the elementary gym.

• 5 p.m.: Volleyball game, away.

• 9 a.m.: Coronation in the Performance Gym.
• 10:30 a.m.: Games.
• 2:30 p.m.: Pep fest.
• 5-7 p.m.: Dance for grades 7-8 in the high school gym.
• 7 p.m.: Homecoming football game vs. Lake Park Audubon.
• 9:30-11:30 p.m.: Dance for grades 9-12 in the high school gym.
