Pequot Lakes has more community education classes

Classes include summer camp, tennis camp and neuroplasticity.

PEQUOT LAKES — Pequot Lakes Community Education offers the following upcoming classes. Register online at isd186.org under Community Education or call 218-568-9200.

  • Venture Outdoors Summer Camp: 8:30-11:30 a.m. June 13-16 at the Eagle View Elementary School Nature Center. Fee: $60

Students in grades 2-4 will explore and learn about the outside world. Each day will include hands-on learning, games and scientific observation.

  • Youth Tennis Camp for Grades 1-6 girls and boys: Monday-Thursday, June 6-9, at the Pequot Lakes High School tennis courts. Fee: $60.

Pequot Lakes Youth Tennis Camp is designed for players of various skills. During camp, girls and boys will work on basic strokes using drills and games. Players should bring their own rackets.

  • Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement: 5-6 p.m. Thursdays, May 26-June 30, online via Zoom. Fee: $69.

Instructor Maggie Vogel-Martin will guide students in the FeldenKrais Method, an activity meant to use neuroplasticity to increase efficiency and pleasure in everyday activities.
