Pequot Lakes, Crosslake churches to host trunk or treat events

At least three Pequot Lakes and Crosslake churches will host trunk or treat events for children:

Event will discuss the impact of health and life circumstances on sex drive.
Author Chato Gonzales will speak on the challenges in making Ojibwe a teachable language
The club meets the third Wednesday of the month at the Crosslake Community Center
The meeting will focus on socializing with group members
Original artwork and an essay must be submitted by Feb. 28.
Photographs from historic Brainerd events will be on view
Registrants support programming and get goodies and deals

  • Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes will host a Trunk or Treat event from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 29, at the church on Front Street.
  • Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes will host a Trunk and Treat event from 4-6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, in the church’s front parking lot. The event will include hot dogs and hot cocoa.
  • Crosslake Lutheran Church will host its annual Trunk ‘N Treat event from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, in the parking lot (only) of the church. Trunks of vehicles will be decorated and people will hand out goodies for all ages to enjoy. The event is free and open to the public. For more information, call the church office at 218-692-3682.
