Pequot Lakes All Class Reunion is Aug. 7

Class of 1972 will be honored as the 50-year class

PEQUOT LAKES — The Pequot Lakes All Class Reunion will start at 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, in the Pequot Lakes High School cafeteria.

All former students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.

The class of 1972 is being honored as this year's 50-year class.

The tour will show off the innovations being invented in Pine River
The gas station, which opened in 1934, was the last in the United States that used hand, known as gravity, pumps. It was a Standard Oil Station from 1934 to 1959, then was privately owned after the main route to Watertown, South Dakota, was changed and the car and truck traffic dwindled.
Many noted the great crowd at the annual event.
Plans for two new parks, an ice hockey rink, a paved path for walking, running and biking within the Crosslake Community Center grounds, a possible expansion of the library and more will be shared
