I am a longtime resident of the Pequot Lakes area. I am a mom of two teenagers. My son is a junior at Pequot Lakes High School and my daughter attends transition school in Brainerd.

I enjoy hockey, traveling, lazy Sundays, hunting, fishing and spending time with friends and family.

I am excited to join the PR-B team because PR-B was always my favorite school to work for as a substitute teacher. Everyone is always helpful and friendly and I get to share my passion for learning in the classroom every day.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "Pineandlakes Echo Journal." Often, the "Pineandlakes Echo Journal" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
