'Modern Stranger Danger' topic of May 4 class for parents, children in Pequot Lakes

PEQUOT LAKES — A class titled "Modern Stranger Danger" will be presented from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, in the Pequot Lakes High School Gathering Room.

Every parent should be aware of the new ways strangers are trying to lure kids. This class will take participants through the current trends in technology usage and the dangers involved.

There will be time at the end for Q&A with Officer Rooney.

This class is for children ages 10+ with an adult. Cost is $10 per family. Register online at under Community Education or call 218-568-9200.
