Hackensack Chainsaw Carving Event is Sept. 23-25

HACKENSACK — Hackensack will once again be abuzz with the sound of chainsaws churning out art during the 18th annual Hackensack Chainsaw Carving Event on Sept. 23-25 in downtown Hackensack.

One dozen locally and nationally recognized chainsaw artists will ply their talents to create works of art from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 23-24, and 9-11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 25.

Carvings will be auctioned at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept 24, and noon Sunday, Sept. 25.

There will be quick carve events at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, and noon Saturday, Sept. 25.

The event will include raffle tickets with prizes of cash and merchandise as well as food and family games. This event will feature the All American Lumberjack Show multiple times each day.
