Firearm safety in Pine River starting April 18

The class will be limited to 25 students.

PINE RIVER — The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources will conduct a firearms safety class from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. every day during the week of Monday, April 18, at Lifehouse Coffee in Pine River.

Students must be at least 12 years old, with adults welcome to register as well. Students must be present at every class and pay a fee of $7.50 on the first day of class. An additional $7.50 must be paid online upon completion for an firearm safety certificate.

The class will be limited to 25 students. Individuals can register by calling or texting Nikki Shoutz at 218-821-3456.
