A dedicated group of Scamp Trailer enthusiasts from across the country congregated in Pine River for a weekend of like-minded celebration.

PINE RIVER — The Lakes Music and Events Park north of Pine River was host to a particular brand of camping enthusiast: those who love Scamp Trailers.

While Wyld Ryce played classic tunes Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the Scamp Homecoming Rally in Pine River, attendees danced the night away.

This July 22-24 event brought a near endless variety of Scamp campers back to the neighborhood that made them. Enthusiasts were treated to cookouts, camp equipment raffles, fellowship and live music from the Wyld Ryce Band.

This may be the first such event, but organizers aim to make it an annual occurrence.
