BRAINERD — All registered voters in Crow Wing County should expect postcards this week with updated election information.
The cards include updated changes due to the 2022 redistricting.
The postcards will list the voter’s polling place, precinct and election districts for local and state races, beginning with the Aug. 9 primary election.
Voters can visit mnvotes.org to apply for an absentee ballot, find their polling place, check their registration status and view a sample ballot for their precinct.
Absentee voting for the Aug. 9 primary election is open. Voters who wish to vote early may come to the historic courthouse in Brainerd during regular business hours. Residents can vote by absentee ballot in person at the elections office on the second floor from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
