CROSSLAKE — Emily Cooperative Telephone Co. and Crosslake Communications will host the following technology seminars on the second Tuesday of each month at the Crosslake Community Center.
- May 10: Tips and Tricks of Windows
This class will explore clever ways to maneuver around the Windows operating system. Whether it be keyboard shortcuts or handy features you didn’t know were there, you’ll walk away having learned something new. Participants will look at useful websites they didn’t know existed.
- June 14: Apple Products
Apple devices, specifically the iPhone and the iPad, are among the most popular mobile devices in the world. Whether you are new to Apple or a longtime user, this class will have something for everyone. Participants will dive into the products themselves beginning with getting comfortable maneuvering around devices and ending with advanced tips and tricks.
- July 12: TBD
- Aug. 9: Internet Devices and WiFi Basics
This will be an open-ended question-and-answer session. Participants may bring their laptop, tablet or phone.
