PINE RIVER — An activity for children will be featured from 3-4 p.m. Friday, July 15, at Pine River Market Square in Pine River.

The activity is free, and kids and parents are welcome to stop by to participate in the activity.

From 2:30-5:30 p.m. Fridays, Pine River Market Square, located next to the Historic Depot in Pine River, features local produce, annuals, perennials, baked goods and preserves as well as craft items.

Our newsroom occasionally reports stories under a byline of "Pineandlakes Echo Journal." Often, the "Pineandlakes Echo Journal" byline is used when rewriting basic news briefs that originate from official sources, such as a city press release about a road closure, and which require little or no reporting. At times, this byline is used when a news story includes numerous authors or when the story is formed by aggregating previously reported news from various sources. If outside sources are used, it is noted within the story.
