BACKUS — The Backus fire hydrants will be flushed Tuesday, Sept. 13.
Residents should know the flushing process could result in temporary discoloration of their water. The effect will be more severe for some residents depending on their location in relation to hydrants, but it will clear up gradually after the flushing process has concluded.
