Incoming kindergartners in the Pequot Lakes School District are invited to explore kindergarten with two half days of school experience from 8 a.m. to noon Aug. 4-5, 6-7, 11-12 or 13-14, in a kindergarten classroom at Eagle View Elementary School in Breezy Point.
Each child is assigned to one of the two half-day Kinder Camp sessions.
Students will tour the school, participate in a story time, work on a fun project, visit the school lunch room, have a snack, enjoy a recess/playtime and take a school bus ride.
Kinder Camp gives incoming children time to get acquainted with the school when there are only a few students in the building for the summer school program. Kindergarten teachers and teaching assistants will direct Kinder Camp.
A limited amount of space is available on the summer school bus route for children for Kinder Camp students.

Families of children who will attend kindergarten this fall have been mailed an invitation letter. Each child has been assigned a date to attend Kinder Camp.

The Kinder Camp program is free and is provided by the Pequot Lakes Community Education Youth Enrichment program and PTA funds.
