The Greater Lakes Association of Realtors had a Holiday Lights Challenge in Crosslake in December.
Homeowners who decorated their homes were invited to upload their photos to a Facebook page and the photo with the most "Likes" became the winner. The winner was awarded $200, keeping $100 and giving the other $100 to a charity of choice.
The winner of the Greater Lakes Holiday Lights Challenge Crosslake Edition was Les Mahowald, who donated the other $100 to Crosslake Community School.
