Heartsaver class offered March 21 in Pine River

Pine River-Backus Community Education will offer a Heartsaver CPR AED class from 5:30-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, in the Pine River-Backus High School Media Center.

Pine River-Backus Community Education will offer a Heartsaver CPR AED class from 5:30-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, in the Pine River-Backus High School Media Center.

Heartsaver CPR AED is a video-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult and child CPR and automated external defibrillator use, infant CPR, and how to relieve choking in adults, children and infants.

This course teaches skills with the American Heart Association's research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students' learning of skills.
