Pequot Lakes Community Education offers a Growing Apple Trees class from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 28, at Eagle View Elementary School.

Jon Stachour, owner of Red Barn Orchard, will share information about planting, pruning, fertilizing and critter control.

Participants will prune trees at Red Barn Orchard or Eagle View (depending on the weather). Dress to go outdoors and bring a pair of pruning shears, if possible. There will be time for questions and discussions.

Class fee is $25 with a minimum of five students required. Pre-registration is required. Contact Pequot Lakes Community Education at 218-568-9200 for more information or to register.
