Cass County will host an open house to kick off the Gull River crossing project from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, at East Gull Lake City Hall.

Attendees will get a chance to learn more about the project goals, purpose, timeline, design options and more.

The Gull River crossing project will create a new roadway, trail and pedestrian connection between County Road 105 and County Highway 70. This connection is in response to the Corps of Engineers closing the roadway through its property to the west of city hall in 2024.

This project may also include spot safety and drainage improvements to the county line and realigning the connection with Scenic Drive. The project will also review the intersections within the corridor to determine appropriate intersection controls.

During the design process, the project team is looking for community input. All community members are invited to attend and share their thoughts on the proposed connection.
