Crow Wing County has several recycling drop sites available for use by county residents.

The sites are:

• Bay Lake-County Highway 10 and Woodland Beach Road, Deerwood.

• Garrison-West on County Highway 1, Garrison City Hall (April-October only).

• Merrifield Lions-16995 Riverside Drive, Brainerd.

• Crosby-1077 First St. SW, Crosby, Crosby City Garage.

• Nisswa-25636 Main St., Nisswa (behind fire department).

• Mission Township-29474 County Highway 3, Merrifield, Mission Town Hall.

• Ideal Township-33503 W. Island Lake Drive (south of County Highway 16), Pequot Lakes.

• Crosslake-34363 County Highway 3, Crosslake Roll-Off.

• Emily-39775 Broadway, Emily.

• Crow Wing Township-6930 Cuyuna Ave., Brainerd, Crow Wing Town Hall.

• Center Township-24491 County Highway 19, Merrifield.

• Crow Wing County Landfill-15728 Highway 210, Brainerd.

Glass, plastic (Nos. 1 through 6 listed on the rectangle on the bottom of the containers; this does not include bottle caps), aluminum, cardboard, paper products (office paper, colored, glossy, newsprint, cereal and pop containers, phone books), and metal cans are accepted.

Residents are asked to flatten cardboard boxes, plastic containers, aluminum cans and metal cans to utilize as much space as possible in the bins.

These cities offer curbside recycling strictly for their residents: Baxter, Brainerd, Breezy Point, Pequot Lakes and Ironton.
