The following garden classes will be held in Hackensack and Backus:

• Wednesday, March 11: Natural Repellants, 10-11 a.m. at Birchwood Assisted Living.

• Wednesday, March 25: Herbs-Growing and Uses, 10-11 a.m. at Birchwood Assisted Living.

• Wednesday, April 8: Planting Classes, 10-11 a.m. at Country Garden Center, Backus. The $15 fee includes basket, soil, additives and maintenance until the end of May. Chosen plants will cost extra.
