Funding for veterans

Jeff Bisson and Bob Hannas, who formed Q-ing for Communities to conduct events to honor local veterans, present a check for $3,500 to Paul Pederson, president of Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans. Also pictured is Bisson's daughter, Maddison. The funds were raised at the first rib cookoff to benefit veterans held in July in Crosslake. Also, $500 was given to the PAL Foundation in Crosslake.
