Anna Felthous and George Davidson were recognized Friday, Jan. 31, when they were crowned queen and king of the 2020 Pine River-Backus SnowDaze.

Their prince and princess were Jaden Cramp and Gaia Scotton. The morning's coronation was followed by a boys basketball game versus Northome-Kelliher during the day, which the Tigers won 62-46. That evening, the girls basketball team played Northome-Kelliher, winning 85-45. There was no dance because Valentine's Day is near.

The coronation featured talents by Ashlee Crawford and a duet by Kyosuke Marcum and Sarah Carey with Lisa Walker on piano. As usual, the court performed a skit before the crowning.
