Pine River-Backus junior Ellie Smith sang her way to the title of Miss Pine River 2018 Saturday, April 14, at Pine River-Backus High School.

The First Princess title went to Shayna Moore, while Ally Anderson earned Second Princess, and Grace Rivers took home the Miss Congeniality title. All girls are juniors.

Smith won a $1,000 scholarship for her efforts. Moore, Anderson and Rivers earned $500, $400 and $100 scholarships, respectively.
