Nolan Olivier and Rylie Hirschey were crowned homecoming king and queen at a small scale coronation Friday, Feb. 12, at Pine River-Backus School with Trevor Redding and Olivia Adkins declared prince and princess.

Pine River-Backus students pushed to finally hold the homecoming that was canceled last fall. While February is when PR-B traditionally holds Snow Daze, students wanted to keep calling it homecoming to make up for the fall event cancellation and to celebrate the return of grades nine through 12 back "home" to in-classroom learning.
