Crow Wing Power is offering a free trip to Washington, D.C., for three high school juniors. The tour is June 20-25. More than 1,500 students from around the nation attend the tour, all sponsored by electric cooperatives.

Interested high school juniors need to go to the Crow Wing Power website at, go to "News/Events," click on the link "Washington Youth Tour" and fill out the information required. They will be asked to write a “fictitious” letter to any political leader focusing on one topic important to them.

Six finalists in the contest will be chosen from 10 area schools. These six will have personal interviews with Crow Wing Power personnel to narrow it down to the three winners. The three not selected will win $50 Visa gift cards.
