Eagle View fourth graders recreate history

Nearly 50 Eagle View Elementary School fourth graders dressed to impress Friday, May 3, and Tuesday, May 7, at the annual Living Museum project in the library.

Students from dressed as historical Americans in conclusion of a project designed to educate and entertain. Students prepared a written research paper, created displays and costumes and performed a speech as their chosen figure all after reading biographies and discussing some famous Americans in class.

Among those present were Pocahontas, several Hellen Kellers, Stephen Hawking, Ulysses S. Grant and Babe Ruth, among many others. This is the fourth year for teacher Kim Johnson and the first year for teachers Sal Sposito and Joan Hampson's classes.
